For the 2023 edition, MY Ultra Running is proud to announce that Katsuo Stamina will be the title sponsor of Janda Baik Ultra. Katsuo Stamina, is a scientific based Japanese sports nutritional supplement product developed to recycle lactic acid into energy wile ridding excessive lactate and improving the ability to sustain endurance. It’s also being awarded Asia’s first sports supplement to pass Informed-Sport and Informed-Choice dual-certified non-doping product.
Janda Baik Ultra 2023 consist of four trail categories; 100km, 50km, 30km and 16km. Be mesmerised by the lushy green mountain scenery and natural tropical rain forest that Janda Baik has to offer throughout the route.

Race registration terms & condition updated version.
The Organizer has the rightful responsibility to decide and communicate to all Janda Baik Ultra 2022 participants on the following matters, in due of the nation’s movement control and pandemic’s situation :
1) Race postponed to a later new date , or
2) Refund option , or
3) Auto race entry slot transfer to the new race date , which is decided and set by the organizer.
4) Changes of Bib name is allowed (during the REPC) with the processing fee of RM50

Random gear checks may be performed during the event. Any participant found with incomplete mandatory gear will incur a penalty or disqualification based on the severity of the breach. No negotiations of incomplete mandatory gear condition will be allowed.

BAGGAGE DEPOSIT
- There is a baggage deposit facility , available at the start/finish point on the race day.
- All participants may drop your bag with items that you are require to utilize after the race.
- It is strongly advised not to store any valuable items or items that you would need during the race.
- The organizer will not be held responsible for your belongings.
DROP BAGS
There will be 1 drop bag at halfway point for categories (100km only) during the race.

General
- This race is open to male or female of Malaysians/international runner age 21 years old or older, as of race day.
- Participants must complete the race on foot under their own strength.
- Participants are required to be semi self-sufficient. You must have your mandatory equipment with you at all times during the race.
- The Organizer reserves the right to deny entry to any participants.
Pacer / External support
- Pacers and support crew are strictly prohibited.
- No external support by friends or family is allowed beyond the limits of the official checkpoints.
F&B
- Refreshments (drinks and food) will be served at the official checkpoints.
- The refreshments are strictly reserved for participants only.
- To avoid littering to the trail, we will not provide any paper cups at each checkpoints. You are required to bring your own bottles or bladders or personal cup.
SAFETY
- Race bib must be worn & visible at all times (on the front) throughout the event.
- Participants must stay on the marked course at all times. Short cuts/running off the trails are strictly prohibited.
- Participants must carry all the mandatory items at all times during the event.
- If should you have noticed marshal vehicles ( motorbike / jeep ) approaching during the race, please slow down and give way.
- Please be cautious as some parts of trail route might be muddy and slippery in condition.
- There will be a few river crossings, so it is advised to always stay alert on the official race marker.
- Ensure your own safety and that of others. Be considerate of other trail and road users at all times. Take great care when crossing or running on roads. If another runner is injured or in distress, please assist.
RACE COURSE
- The route will be marked with ribbons and arrows at intersections. It is imperative that you follow the paths with the markers without taking any short cuts.
- Any runner seen taking a short cut along the route will be penalized/disqualified.
DROPPING OUT FROM THE RACE
- If you decide to withdraw from the event, you must inform the event officials immediately and remove your race bib.
- Once you have dropped out of the race, you are not allowed to re-start.
- Do remember to keep your baggage deposit card ( if any ), so that you can still redeem your baggage once return to start/finish point.
- Tell the checkpoint marshals that you've decided to drop out from the race.
- The checkpoint marshals will be able to further guide you on returning to the finishing point or with the race shuttle.
- Do note that not all checkpoints are accessible with race shuttle and even so with a limited time frame.
- Please proceed to your nearest checkpoint and inform the marshals that you've decided to drop out from the race.

- If you're severely unable to move yourself to the nearest checkpoint, please contact the event emergency number on your race bib.
Medical
- Medical services of medical personnel with ambulance will be available at the race site, if required for emergency cases.
- It is the responsibility of all the participants to ensure that they are medically fit & healthy to participate the race.
- Please consult your doctor if there is any prior doubt on your health.
Insurance
- All participants are to accept the risk associated with this event as per indemnity clause stated in registration form.
- The Organizer will not be responsible for any medical/insurance claims resulted from this event.
- It is recommended that all participants have personal accident insurance or health insurance.
General
- You must obey the instructions of the event marshals at all times.
- If you miss the cut-off time for your category, you must withdraw from the race as instructed.
- Littering is strictly prohibited. Any runner seen littering along the route will be penalized.
- Damaging or disturbing any flora or fauna is strictly prohibited.
- Doping or use of drugs is strictly prohibited.
- Breaking any of the rules mentioned may incur a time penalty or disqualification. Any such penalties are at the race organisers discretion and are final.
- The organisers reserve the right to make changes to the event rules and requirements, route or other arrangements as they deem appropriate.
- Participants must provide true and accurate information to the organisers. Any wilful dishonesty may render a participant's entry invalid and the organisers reserve the right to amend or cancel such participant's entry without compensation.
- Lack of respect for others (organisation or runners) Note : a participant whose supporters are uncivil and/or refuse to respect the organisation's instructions will be penalised. (Disqualify)
EVENT CANCELLATION
The organisers shall reserve the right to cancel or cut short the event for the following reasons: ( but not limited to )
- Adverse weather conditions ( haze, thunderstorm etc. )
- Dangerous trail conditions ( Landslides, Flood, Tree fallen/fires blockage along the course etc. )
